Has anyone completed the buisness adminstration associate through saylor for TESU? - desireelws50 - 12-26-2016 I am currently looking at the buisness adminstration degree. I prefer psychology but I want to complete my degree as quickly and cheaply as possible. Is there a degree plan for the Bachelor portion of the degree for Thomas Edison. Im thinking about double majoring. Has anyone completed the buisness adminstration associate through saylor for TESU? - dfrecore - 12-26-2016 What double majors are you considering? And in your title, you've asked about the "Business Administration Associate through Saylor." But then in your question, you ask about the Bachelor's. I'm confused about what you're looking for. Ah - I would not pay that close of attention to Saylor's plan, or the one on TESU's website. They don't include most of the inexpensive methods we talk about on this forum. Here is a degree plan for the BSBA in GM, fairly generic. It doesn't include the ALEKS courses, because I thought they were expiring on 11/30 when I revised the plan. You can insert those for College Algebra and Stats if you can finish before they expire (1/31/17 at this point in time). I also didn't include Shmoop, $85/mo for unlimited classes (they have math, history and Lit courses right now). Who is expiring them? If I pass the test before 1/31/17 should I be enrolled at Tesu. I was waiting to finish some clep and Aleks exams before I enroll. Thank you Has anyone completed the buisness adminstration associate through saylor for TESU? - dfrecore - 12-28-2016 Fzi Wrote:Iam in the middle of taking Aleks exams .Can you please elaborate on the expiration. ALEKS may or may not be renewing their ACE-recommendation, so if they don't pay the $3000 to do so, the course for credit expires. The course itself is not expiring, just the option to get ACE credit for it. That just means that if you pass after that date, you won't get credit. If you pass any ALEKS courses before the expiration date, then you can put them on your ACE transcript and you're good. Once it's there, you don't have to worry. If you pass any course/exam when that course/exam was credit-bearing, then it's good forever. It's like if your college stopped offering a course. You would still have it on your transcript, it's just no longer offered at that school. The fact that you took it when it was offered, and got credit for it at that time, is what matters. Whether or not you're enrolled at TESU makes no difference. Has anyone completed the buisness adminstration associate through saylor for TESU? - Fzi - 12-28-2016 Thank you very much. Is Aleks no longer under Ace? |
