Do I have enough credits for an Athabasca University 3 year BGS? - charlesf33 - 12-25-2016 KayV, can you please help? I'm thinking about getting a no residence bachelor's from Athabasca. I already paid the application fee for TESU but if getting an Athabasca BGS requires zero additional courses then I will definitely switch. You are only 17cr away from a BALS at TESU - and 8 of those credits are free (Insurance Ethics, and the 3 TEEX courses). You would only need to take Oral Communication (SL, Study.com or TECEP) and American Government/Comparative Politics (SL, Study.com, or Saylor), and the capstone, and you're done. About $4,000 with the Residency Waiver and fees. I hope the Athabasca degree is closer and cheaper, but if not... Good luck! Do I have enough credits for an Athabasca University 3 year BGS? - KayV - 12-25-2016 I PM'ed you, but the short version is "close but probably not." It wouldn't hurt to apply because you appear to have 13 of 15 courses that are upper level. Send your transcripts to Athabasca, but in the meantime I would be working on the degree plan Dfrecore posted above. |
