my eval... - creditmonsoon - 12-03-2016

My tesc evaluation came but I'm not sure what I need to do Sad

My current evaluation doesn't list it but after I sent this transcript I finished four courses...

Education 105: Special Education History and Law (Education 105)

Finance 102: Personal Finance

Business 113: Business Communication

Business 106: Human Resource Management

for a total of 12 credits beyond what's listed on this transcript. I just sent another transcript request a few minutes ago but I'm not sure what to target next :/

my eval... - ajs1976 - 12-04-2016

Have you enrolled or are you still in the application stage? When I applied, they evaluated credits twice within the initial waiting period and then wouldn't do anymore until I enrolled.

Odd, before I enrolled, I sent over two college transcripts, a Saylor transcript, a CLEP score and two separate DSST scores. They transcribed them all.

I sent 5 college transcripts and one from SL. Part way through the initial eval period, they processed everything they had and then did it a second time with everything that came in after. The ones that came in late, a delayed transcript and DSST results, didn't get evaluated until after I enrolled.

It looks like you have found a groove with Study.com courses so I used those to complete this.

For the 4 hours of general education electives, you could take any Study.com courses under any tab except Business except for EDU courses.

For Business in Society, you could use Business 308: Globalization & International Management MAN-372.

You have completed Managerial Communications using Business 113: Business Communication COM-300.

For Group 2 (Not started), you could use Business 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising MAR-441.

You have completed Business 106: Human Resource Management MAN-331.

For your other Business elective, pick almost anything under the Business tab.

You have finished your free electives using Education 105: Special Education History and Law (Education 105) and Finance 102: Personal Finance.

You have already earned your upper level credits so you don’t have to worry about that.

I already completed Globalization & International Management MAN-372. So all of my next courses have to be business-related? Thank you Smile I guess I missed taking the Globalization & International Management MAN-372 course after this evaluation, so maybe I need only three more classes :/

Your general ed electives should be general ed and not business.
If you think you could swing Calculus, Saylor's Calculus I MAT-231 counts as 4 credits through NCCRS.
Straighterline's lab science courses also count as 4 credits.

You are so close! Good luck!

I have no problem to enroll but I don't want to do it prematurely. I live in NJ too so I think that helps.

I think the magic number is at least 104 credits to have the Cornerstone requirement waived.

Out of curiosity, where did you take BUS-480 Seminar in Business? How great that you got it approved for Strategic Management!

Almost at that "magic" number Smile That was the Penn Foster course that I took months ago. I enrolled right before the deadline after I received approval from the TESC registrar. I took a shot because $300 is a lot of money for me and I'm glad it paid off. I don't think the TECEP 's hard, though. At least you don't have to take a whole class.
