TESU Human Services (Associate in Arts) help. - humanservicestesu - 11-28-2016

Hi,

I would like to get an AA in Human Services at TESU. I don't know if these count towards the degree but this is what I have so far: College Algebra with Trigonometry (ALEKS), Trigonometry (ALEKS), Introduction to Business (Pen Foster).

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to complete this degree through Aleks, Straighterline, Penn Foster, Clep, etc. I am mainly concerned with completing the general education requirements this way but would also be interested in doing the core classes this way as well.

Here is the link with the degree requirements:

Thank you for your help.

Do I just choose one course from each section? How do I know if it will be enough credits? Sorry, english is my second language hope this makes sense

For human services courses look at CSU global CBEs. There are a few that might fit. You'd have to check with TESU first. Excelsior has cultural diversity challenge exam.

Would a regular associate in arts work for you? It does not require a Capstone class so it is much cheaper.

I thought all the degrees there required a capstone - if no capstone is required, what exactly do you need to do at TESU to get the associates?

The capstone is for Bachelors, not Associates Smile
