They take ALEKS, but they do not take Shmoop credits. There is no maximum, as long as the courses are on their transfer guide. Your best bet is to request the transfer guide for your particular program and just work your way through it - my son is probably going to complete all but 2 of the transferrable courses in the hopes of completing his BS in one 6 month term.

Glad to see a post about WGU - not too much discussion here about them.

They also take Study.com courses, CLEP & DSST exams. Probably more.

They will let you transfer in a total of 90 credits.

Interesting - I was told via email "there is no maximum, as long as the courses meet the transfer requirements." I need to go count them up and see if that comes out to 90 - I assumed the max number would depend on the program since she specifically said no maximum number.

I just checked and there are 32 courses you can transfer into the HR Management program - and 5 of those courses count for 4 credits (even though most courses you transfer in would be 3 credit courses).

WGU requires that 30 credits come from WGU. That leaves you with 90 to transfer in assuming a 120 credit program.

Did an enrollment counselor tell you this, or do you have it in a document? This is just not what the enrollment counselor told me, and now I'm curious. My son will have 36 credits left when he enrolls, so he's fine either way - but I'd definitely like to know if we were given the wrong information - we asked about 2 weeks ago and were told you can transfer in anything on the guildelines pdf with no maximums.

an enrollment counselor did tell me this, but I just went back to the discussion and the link he sent me, and it appears it might be specific to second undergrad degrees only, so I apologize. I couldn't find anything similar as it relates to your first undergrad degree, so I would go with the advice they gave you. Not some dummy on the internet like me.
