I'm looking into this. Thanks for the heads up!

The info sheet they put out is not clear (to me anyway). But, by your information, it's:

A speech class, an English comp class, and x3 CJ classes (and all can be transferred in) and x4 FEMA IS classes, pay the $ 20 application fee, and submit documentation to Dr. Crouch and that's that?

The official sealed transcripts (5x courses from the outside) I enclosed in my packet to Dr. Crouch and not to the college directly. That's the way he wants them. Its one of the most unique setups I have seen by a college. There is no official transcript from TRCC as all the courses came from the outside. Three River Community College Workforce & Community Education Office can reproduce the EM certificate they said and they keep a record. I scanned mine as backup.

Most all college/university UnderGrad or Grad Certificates cost $$$$$ and in time and have about ZERO worth in the market place. I never saw anyone ever get a job with one. This is great a resume builder and interview talking points.

This is great as I have been in fire/ems for 13 years so most of those requirements I already have. However COM 173 Public speaking I'm having trouble finding that course to take so I can transfer in. So far I have only found Communications 101: Public Speaking Study.com and from und.com COMM110: Fundamentals of Public Speaking. Not sure where else I could fulfill this requirement for public speaking?
I took COM222 Effective Oral Communication when I got my A.A.S in 04 - Not sure if that would fulfill that requirement.

I really like UND for their open enrollment courses. My concern with study.com courses both LL/UL I know they give ACE credits but they are not on the Alternative Credit Project website so they may not transfer.

I will use SL Intro to Criminal Justice.

DSST: The Principles of Public Speaking was easy back when I took it decades ago.

I would email Dr. Crouch about COM222 and ask him.:iagree:

Wondering if study.com or SL courses would count for the CJ and/or other courses?

Emergency Management Certificate - Community College (FREE) - KUJO - 12-10-2016

Has anyone else turned in all the required courses? Has anyone asked or used study.com on an ACE transcript to fulfill the history and public speaking requirements? I would like too see what the certificate looks like if some could post it. Thanks.

This is cool, I may do it just for fun. I wonder if the CJ/Security can have a substitute? I wonder if American Government can sub for the US History.
