Info Systems CLEP vs. Computer Concepts and Apps - Synicaal - 10-20-2016 Hello All, Would these two clash at TESU? It looks like Info Systems is CIS-102 and Computer Concepts and Apps is CIS-107. Are these ok to have together or do they clash with one another. Information Systems is a CLEP I wanted to take from the start because I can probably take it cold due to my background. If they do not clash where can I slot both of these classes for a BA is Accounting. The Computer Concepts and Apps going in the Core Area, where would CIS-102 fill? Also I just noticed I am taking a Business Communications course from my Local CC and its a 200 level class, I need Business Communications for my bachelors at TESU but they have it as COM-300. I know my CC class wont count for UL credit, but will it cover the credits I need for this class. I would hate to have to do this same class again just because its not consider UL from a CC. The class summaries are almost identical. Info Systems CLEP vs. Computer Concepts and Apps - swalke321 - 10-20-2016 I have both CIS-102 and CIS-107 and neither duplicate. I thought the CLEP, DSST and Saylor were COS-101. Propero and Excelsior both have a course that is CIS-102. CIS-102 and CIS-107 both fall under Natural World section on my academic eval. The CLEP and DSST do duplicate each other though, so don't take both of those (or the 2 Study.com computer courses). The CC Business Comm course will work in the core, none of the core BSBA courses have to be UL - TESU just puts in their own courses for those, you can replace them with whatever you take. |
