A blank TESU BA CRJ Plan - High_Order1 - 09-27-2016
So,
I am trying to learn my way around the system, while waiting on my initial assessment. Asking for the assessment apparently computer generated a blank plan.
This may be helpful for someone else trying to develop their own plan. This one was generated 27 SEPT 2016 and may have changed.

PLEASE NOTE: Your personalized Thomas Edison State University
Academic Evaluation is an advising tool designed to assist you in
planning for degree completion. Your academic evaluation shows:
1. WHAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE TO EARN THE DEGREE. The degree
requirements are categorized into general education requirements,
area of study/core requirements and free elective requirements.
2. WHAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALREADY. Degree requirements that have
already been fulfilled, either by previously earned credit
(transfer, licenses/certifications) or by taking Thomas Edison State
University courses, are listed with the completed course titles,
grades and number of semester hour credits.
3. WHAT YOU STILL NEED TO COMPLETE. Degree requirements that remain
to be completed will show as open requirements. Please remember that
the evaluation is not an official transcript, but an evolving review
of credits appropriate to your degree.
You are currently an applicant to the University and this evaluation
will remain valid as long as you enroll in the University within
your twelve month application period. If you do not enroll, you will
be required to re-apply at a later date and will be evaluated again
under new degree requirements, which may change from this
evaluation.
Applicants are entitled to two evaluations; an initial evaluation
and one updated evaluation based on documented received for transfer
evaluation after the initial evaluation has been completed.
Please make sure you review the academic policies in the University
catalog as they also govern your enrollment and degree requirements.
More information on the Academic Evaluation can be found in the
Advisement Program Planning Handbook found here:
Advisement Program Planning Handbook.

Planned Courses
If you are new to Thomas Edison State University, you are encouraged
to work with our academic advising staff to develop a degree plan.
If you previously attended Thomas Edison State University, you may
have worked with an advisor in the past to create a degree plan.
Please continue reading to understand how degree/course planning
works.
The process includes the approval and planning of courses on your
academic evaluation. These planned courses act as place holders for
students to view where courses may apply to the degree. Planned
courses look different from courses already completed in that
planned courses will have parenthesis around the semester hours,
three dashes in the grade column, and a "PL" in the notes section
(far right of the course name and code).
Once courses are planned/approved by the Office of Academic
Advising, they remain on your evaluation until you complete the
course or ask us to remove it. If you have a lapse in your
enrollment, your Academic Evaluation may show courses that were
previously planned/approved, however your degree requirements may
have changed upon returning to Thomas Edison State University. You
may also have additional course options to satisfy the specific
requirement. It is recommended you contact an academic advisor to
discuss your degree plan. Also, please note that the "Other Courses"
section of your degree contains courses that are not applying to any
degree requirements. If you see planned courses in this section, do
not register for them. You should contact the Office of Academic
Advising to have them removed. Catalog year and other degree changes
may affect how planned courses apply to your degree.
********************************************************************
Thomas Edison State University will accept a maximum of 80 semester
hours (s.h.) of transfer credit from junior, county or community
college toward a baccalaureate degree. Junior, county and
community-college credit will be equated to 100/200 level
coursework. Students are responsible for adhering to this policy.
