It looks like respiratory therapists, certified midwives, and licensed physicians and physician assistants no longer qualify for the program. They are only accepting LPN/LVNs, paramedics, and certain MOSs. In addition, in order to be admitted, one has to have 200 hours of clinical work experience within the past year. I think these changes occurred in March, but I'm just now seeing them. For those who are in Texas, the state is reviewing its acceptance of the program in 2017.

For the Nursing program they have also changed the amount of attempts on each nUrsing course. In addition to that you have to complete a NCLEX review course. IS there anyone who has actually CLEP out of the excelsior nursing courses on here?

CLEP exams are things like Calculus or Social Sciences and History or English Comp. There are no nursing courses.

If you mean were people able to take all of the Gen Ed's and any other requirements besides the actual nursing courses via CLEP (or DSST, Straighterline, Study.com, etc.), that is an option.
