My review of www.AccountingWorkbook.com - TinHead - 08-08-2016

Here is the link to the website: Accountingworkbook.com - Home

The website is run by a guy named Tony Bell. He has modules for both financial accounting --and-- managerial accounting.

His website does cost money ($9.99 per month) but it is substantially cheaper than other options (ie: AccountingCoach, Study.com, etc.) and in my personal opinion the BEST and most structured lesson plan you will find for the money online.

He is also very responsive to emails for support. I received a reply back in less than 10 minutes when I emailed him.

I have my financial accounting exam coming up this September and the managerial accounting exam in October and I feel for the first time I genuinely understand accounting after viewing his videos.

To prove how effective his videos are, around 40-50% of the videos on his website are free and you do not need to pay a monthly fee to access them.

Each video takes you through a problem that he has compiled in a PDF (that is free for anybody to download from his website: http://bit.ly/2b3htGO) and he breaks it down to level that anybody can understand. He explains things very clearly and through repetition you are able to grasp the concepts in his videos. He also provides templates for some of the problems so you can simply download the spreadsheet and fill in the blanks.

I would give him a 10/10 recommendation.

Hope this helps!

this is a great resource, but I don't understand why you had to use a shortened url

I hate shortened urls

there is no way to tell what page they actually go to

I've click on shortened urls before that were supposed to be links to news stories or youtube videos or something else interesting and it ends up going to a pron site or something else NSFW

you put his website in the first sentence --- I can mouse over it and see the actual link in the status bar at the bottom of my browser

I can't do that with the shortened url you put for the pdf

I know you didn't play a joke and make a NSFW link, but I don't click on shortened links

maybe these are the urls of the pefs you are talking about

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5819251/Financial%20Accounting%20Workbook.pdf

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5819251/Managerial%20Accounting%20Workbook%20Version%201.pdf

anyway, thanks for the site
it'll be useful

Here's a quick fix to help you avoid blind clicks, bluebooger. Run the short URL through this website, and it will tell you where it's trying to take you...

Unshorten that URL! - Unshorten.It!

(you can also install a browser extension so you can do this automatically without going to the site)

Yup. The shortened URL I posted goes to the PDF you linked to for the Financial Accounting workbook. Fret not Smile

Thanks for the recommendation; I have these tests coming up also and this sounds like a really great resource!
