What kinds of options does someone have during the time when all degree requirements have been met, but the degree has not been officially conferred? Are there graduate programs that will temporarily accept your transcripts and allow you to start on graduate coursework?

This will be my situation soon- I have 4 DSSTs and the TECEP capstone that I will be completing over the next few weeks, followed by the Cornerstone. I cannot pay the residency waiver and graduation fee at this time so I know my degree will not be conferred until I pay those items. Is there anything I can work on (besides saving the money) in the meantime? I would like to avoid a prolonged state of limbo. I imagine it is too much to ask to find a graduate program that does not require actual undergrad conferral Smile

Based on some recent discussion, Patten may be an option, but WGU would not be one.

The problem is, even if a school would accept you, if you can't afford to pay for the residency fee to get your degree from TESU, how would you be able to pay for the new school's tuition?
