I received my academic evaluation and learned today TESU accepted 43 credits but only 22 apply to that individual program.
Here's my history with colleges and where I've applied:
Attended:
Central Ohio technical college -earned 33 credits
National paralegal college - earned 60 after I finished this last class - graduating with associates in paralegal studies
Applied to:
Excelsior - told me they won't accept my credits from NPC
TESU- only 23 of the 43 transfer credits apply to bachelors in business program
Charter oak- applied today
Western governors - applied today- free to apply with code NOFEE so why not!
Hoping either charter oak or western governors will accept more credit.
I'm wanting to Clep or credit by examination almost an entire bachelors in business degree. Thoughts? Can this even be done at WGU?

I just wanted to confirm something. Are the courses that don't apply for your BSBA at TESU showing up on the bottom of your evaluation under the "OTHER COURSES:" section?

You said that they accepted 43 of your 60 credits in the title, but you indicate that you almost have 93 credits (33+60 = 93). TESU and COSC do not accept credits from nationally accredited schools unless they have some special partnership. The National Paralegal College is nationally accredited by DEAC. Excelsior only accepts credits from nationally accredited schools on a case-by-case basis. Since most of your credits are in paralegal studies, and the BSBA at TESU doesn't have much room for free electives, hardly any of your paralegal credits will count toward the degree. Paralegal courses are usually neither business nor general education credits.
COSC's degree will have more room for free electives. However, you would get better use of your credits in COSC's BA or BS in General Studies with a concentration in Paralegal Studies. Lucky for you, COSC has a partnership with the National Paralegal College. The National Paralegal College also has its courses evaluated by NCCRS, which COSC and TESU will accept. Excelsior should also accept NCCRS credits, but since NCCRS does not issue transcripts, you probably have to inform Excelsior that your courses are NCCRS-approved so that they can check the database. WGU accepts credits from nationally accredited schools, but none of their programs will have much, if any, room for your paralegal credits.

You could post your TESU eval on here and let us see what's going on to give more help.
I agree with Sanantone, your best bet is COSC. You will get the most bang for your buck there.

+1 For the advice here, it's up to you to decide which degree/school you'll ultimately end up with.
The reason is because, not only the credit amount is going to be different, but their fees for capstone/cornerstone and test out options are different.
I will still lean towards the TESU BSBA because you can test out the capstone, it'll be hard, but workable.
If COSC will allow you more credits, great! You can add FEMA credits to the list as well for FREE.
But the upper level courses are more and harder to find for a cheap price...
Essentially, it's a waiting game right now, so work on what courses you need for either degree, the general education requirements.

OP, TESU began a new program fairly recently called the Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies. They seem to offer a concentration in Paralegal Studies that might work for you.

I am going through the evaluation process now as well, around 80 of my 120 credits seem to count. I do not think it is unreasonable, if you took a bunch of classes that just do not fill a requirement, there is not much you can do.
I am probably going to go with Charter Oak general studies information systems studies. Sanantone mentioned they have a paralegal studies program. TESU seems to have more potential to test out of, but I would need to fill more requirements. Charter Oak I need to fill upper level requirements, and some of the classes in the major I can probably not test out of.

I agree with KayV, sometimes you a degree program that might not fit the credits you already have.
Call TESU tomorrow and ask that they change your major to BSPS w/Paralegal concentration (it's not an option to choose it on your MyEdison account to test it), but then you can see what happens with all of those courses. You may be pleasantly surprised by what you find.
If they still don't accept your courses, then look at COSC and WGU.
You can make a copy of the new eval (and the old one if you want) to see the difference, and let us know what happens.

Yes I believe 8? courses show at the bottom that she said are essentially free electives

I was really hoping to get my BSBA because if I choose not to work in the paralegal industry I'm not stuck. I'm not sure what all
Jobs I can get with a BSPA?
