Straighterline Final Exam - tsimmns - 06-12-2016 I am getting mixed reviews about Finals. I have read you must get 70% on the final for it to be counted and then I have read that it's just 70% in the course. I'm in the Psychology class now and just wondering which is correct. There is nothing in the syllabus, but I do see the final is not just 1 attempt like the other 3, as the first exam was also allowed a re-take. Has anyone took this recently and can confirm? Straighterline Final Exam - bjcheung77 - 06-13-2016 Going from memory, and viewing so many pages on this forum, I recall you only need 70% total to get credit. Straighterline courses are mainly, if not all, the cumulative percentage of 70% or higher will come in as a pass... Online Intro to Psychology Course for College Credit | StraighterLine https://s3.amazonaws.com/StraighterLine/Syllabus/Introduction+to+Psychology-V3.pdf I don't see a section where it states the final has to be 70% or higher in either the website or the syllabus. Furthermore, the proctored final is 30% of the entire course, try hard for the 4 exams prior to it and you'll be fine. Straighterline Final Exam - tsimmns - 06-13-2016 Thanks. I read another thread where the guy was upset because he had to get 70% on the final, however he might not of known either. I guess I'll find out soon when I go to take it. Straighterline Final Exam - alzee - 06-13-2016 You don't need any particular score on the final, just 70% overall for the course. If your score is low enough, it could potentially drag your score for the course down below 70% though. I got a 68% or something on one of my SL finals a while back, didn't matter. That's exactly the thread I was referring to. Straighterline Final Exam - mednat - 06-13-2016 It depends on the course. If i remember correctly there was only one course (at some point in time, may have changed) that required a 70% on the final. It stated this clearly in the syllabus when it was required. If there is nothing in the syllabus, it should be a 70% requirement total. I random clicked through a ton of final exams. |
