I'm about halfway through my Master's Degree program; if all goes well, I should get it by next year.

There's a few positions that I'm eye-balling for when after I get the MA, but overall, I'm not 100% of what I could or should do with it.

I work for the state government and there are a few positions I can compete for that require a MA. There's always some jobs that I COULD go for right now, but having the MA would definitely give me an added advantage (since the competition is so great right now for these types).

I'm also wondering what else I could do with it such as teach a night or online class at Community College or a for-profit university?

What have you done with your Master's Degree? How has your Master's Degree improved your life?

I'm literally in the same spot as you, minus the good job part lol. About half-way done with my MA, but no idea what I'm going to do with it. Just kinda wanted to get it to say I have it and take things from there.

Most professors at a university hold a Doctorate degree, community college would be acceptable for Masters.
I've not thought about teaching an awful lot, but I did think about teaching English overseas so I can travel.
I'm also hoping to complete my Masters by end of next year, hope everything goes smoothly for you (and me).
