Newbie but oldie needing help with degree choice - crazyzippo - 05-17-2016 I have a background in finance (meaning I have worked in banking for some time mainly investment and wealth management). I am wanting a slight change and looking at a accounting degree, (I have no degree at this time and only taken a couple classes years ago) Is it possible to still test out in an accounting degree and if so is there already a plan laid out or something of a guideline out there? Any chance someone could direct me to the right path. There is just so much to ask that I would like to know if anyone has any guidance in this area of degree or school(s). Thanks again so much for your help in directing me in the right direction. Crazyzippo Newbie but oldie needing help with degree choice - dfrecore - 05-17-2016 Here's a fairly generic Accounting degree plan for TESU. It utilizes any free courses, ALEKS, Saylor (which you may or may not want to use), SL, CLEP/DSST, etc. It's a start. Newbie but oldie needing help with degree choice - crazyzippo - 05-17-2016 wow that so sooo fast and thank your soo much. Ill be diving into this tonight and getting a plan together! Newbie but oldie needing help with degree choice - LaterBloomer - 05-18-2016 University of Northern Alabama offers this University of North Alabama Professional Accounting Prep Program - Wiley CPAexcel. I do not have any personal experience of it, but it has been mentioned in this forum. Newbie but oldie needing help with degree choice - bjcheung77 - 05-18-2016 There was another thread asking for a TESU recommendation for Accounting. Please see here for more info. http://www.degreeforum.net/general-education-testing-discussion/26263-degree-plan-help.html#post207868 The information from dfrecore is golden, advice you should look into.
