Most professors are not making six figures. They have to work a long time to get to that level (professor rather than assistant or associate) and usually have to be at a research university. Most administrators are not making a half a million dollars. I remember hearing people in San Antonio complaining about the head of the North Side Independent School District making six figures. I'm like...uh...he has a PhD and is over a district that has more than 90k students. Do you think he should get paid as much as a school principal? |
