Quick question: I am lacking 6 credits of general electives. I have intro to business and intro to nutrition listed under other courses. Can those credits be moved to general electives?

Here are the categories it has to fall under. Please see link here.
Thomas Edison State University | General Education - 2016 or After
Nutrition should be a go, as it's a science course. Business is a no, as it's not part of the list.

Have you done the free Kaplan PLA course? There's three quick gen ed credits at no cost

+1, that's a great option. Do you have a list of completed courses or a spreadsheet with your degree plan in place?

Or the TEX cyber-security courses, that could be 6 (for all 3 modules) as well.

My List:
Texas A&M Extension
TEEX-250 CAP-295 Intro to Security Basics (2cr)
TEEX-251 CAP-385 Network Security (2cr)
TEEX-252 CIS-244 Computer Security (2cr)

Kaplan Open University
Kaplan PLA-100 = PLA 100 (1Cr)
Kaplan PLA-200 = PLA 200 (2Cr)

Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter
CPCU Ethics = PHI-379 Ethics, waiver required (2cr)

*Almost free at $20 for a month Smile
ALEKS
Begining Algebra = MAT-110 (3cr) (using as GE at COSC)
Intermediate Algebra = MAT-115 (3cr) (using as GE at COSC)
College Algebra = MAT-121 (3cr)
Business Statistic = STA-201 (3cr)

Do the TEEX courses come in as general ed, too? i was under the impression they only count in Free Electives.

I am not sure anymore, COSC changed the designations from CIS to the more generic CAP. One of the reasons why I did the extra ALEKs course for Beginning / Intermediate Algebra for 6cr - more is better

Are you at TESU? If so, I don't think TEEX counts as Gen Ed any longer. They also won't take Beginning Algebra from ALEKS.

Not sure about the other schools.

I am thinking about SL Chemistry. I will need it down the road for my bsn.
