I'm paying out of pocket right now but when I transfer to WGU they have a FAFSA option. I'm wondering if anyone actually qualifies.

I used FAFSA for my final year, to get any aid at WGU you will have to apply, if you qualify for a PELL take it. Qualifying is based on the federal guidelines. Just go to FAFSA.Gov and apply to know how you land.
It will also give you loan options, no way I would borrow money for most undergrad degrees.
