Thomas Edison - BSBA Finance ?s - VanillaBean - 01-21-2016 Helping a friend who is looking at a BSBA in Finance from Thomas Edison Has anyone does this? I think I've figured out all the CBE that I know of via DSST/CLEP/Aleks/Straighterline except for approx 24 hours. Can anyone offer any advice for the following requirements - either clep/dsst/ace/aleks/straighterline - etc..... need 18 hours in the "Area of Study": Financial Institutions and Markets OR Money and Banking International Finance Advanced Financial Management/Corporation Finance Advanced Security Analysis and Portfolio Management OR Investments II Business Forecasting Commercial Banking Capital Budgeting Management Capital Structure Management Derivatives Mathematical Analysis of Financial Decisions Risk Management Working Capital Management These are the ones I'm not sure about - can anyone confirm or deny that these exams will cover these requirements: Business Law - ??? CLEP Intro to Business Law Computer Concepts and Applications/Introduction to Computers/CIS - ??? CLEP Info Sys & Comp App Introduction to Marketing - ??? CLEP Prin of Marketing Business in Society or International Management - ??? possibly DSST Business Ethics & Society Thomas Edison - BSBA Finance ?s - dfrecore - 01-21-2016 Finance is a hard one to do, I can only find 5 (maybe 6) courses, 2 are through TESU so full price, 2 TECEP, 1 PF, and 1 possible UExcel/CSU-Global which may or may not work. If not, then he will have to find one additional course somewhere else (Excelsior has a couple Financial Institutions - TECEP; Money & Banking - DSST is not available right now, with no idea when it will be again Security Analysis and Portfolio Management - TECEP Penn Foster has Financial Management which I think fulfills the Principles of Finance requirement. They also have Corporate Finance, which is UL. UExcel has Quantitative Analysis (UL) which may work (or not); CSU-Global has Quantitative Business Analysis. International Finance - TESU online Risk Management - TESU online -------------------------------------------- Business Law - ??? CLEP Intro to Business Law YES, or Straighterline Computer Concepts and Applications/Introduction to Computers/CIS - ???
