I'm looking for good study material for the English Comp CLEP. Anyone have any advice?

Also, would it be better to take the Excelsior exam instead? My plan is to get an AS from Charter Oak and either continue at Charter Oak or possibly complete the BS/IT at Excelsior.

Take a word from one who failed this course, after passing 12 others without any problem...study, be patient in answering each question and don't think it will be a breeze. I thought it would be and it breezed right by me in one being " clunk and flunk" swishing sound!!

I used cracking the CLEP for Englsih Comp. I also took the Excelsior College Writing and used the MyAccess writing tool that's included with purchase of the exam. If you have plans to move to Excelsior keep in mind that the CLEP will not count towards their written english requirements. The exam will only count for 3 humanities credits (assuming that the exam doesn't overlap with other english courses beyond the first 3 credits).
