The grade will show on your transcript, but it doesn't count towards your GPA with Charter Oak, only courses taken at COSC count towards your GPA. This counting towards the GPA is taken directly from their website

I looked on my transcript and it shows the grades for my classes at Straighterline. I also transferred them directly to COSC and not through ACE.

My transcript only shows an overall GPA. I graduated awhile ago now though, 2011.

I don't go to COSC, but I am pretty sure SL transfer through ACE will not show on transcript. It said it somewhere on their site I had to find it before.

Sorry I am new to this. Can you clarify what you mean by "only courses taken at COSC count towards your GPA" ? I am looking at doing a lot of tests [some CLEP, some other] at a local testing center and need a specific GPA for graduate school entry. Thanks.

You have to enroll in the class through COSC (credit earned through them), it can't be transferred credit. Tests such as CLEP and DSST as well as classes at other places such as Straighterline, Sophia, etc are transferred credits. If you have no graded course work through COSC, no GPA will be on your transcript. That info is also at the previous mentioned link.

Thanks for the clarification Angela. I am new to the US educational system so still learning about credit transfers, testing out, and all the other terms.
