For those who have done this option which did you prefer, although you didn't do both. Trying to decide if it's cheaper to do SL Although they have the 99 monthly fee to complete. Just found out about these options and am stoked to say the least as I'm hoping to knock out the 3 courses for TESC this way. Ethics, GOVT, and whatever else the odd course is. So opinions on best, easiest, and easiest to deal with. I also noticed UEXCEL gives an actual letter grade, I guess depending on how you score, is this correct.

I won't be able to say which is the easiest, because I didn't take Uexcel. Based on my experience with SL's Business Ethics, I'll say it is doable . It isn't difficult moreso when you are allowed to use the textbook during exams. But, if I have to do it all over again, I will go for Uexcel as they offer graded credits against SL whose credits are ACE and transcribed as Pass or CR by most schools. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, COSC and EC appear to still offer letter grades for SL classes.

I did neither, and I'm a COSC student.

However I did the DSST Business Ethics and didn't have any issues with it, especially after doing CLEP Business Law which had a decent amount of overlap.

Also, while TESC is not my focus, I believe TESC does not transcribe the UExcel grades and just provides a Pass if you get a C or higher.

I took the DSST Business Ethics exam this morning with almost zero prep, just winged it, and got a passing score of 419. There are flashcards out on Quizlet and other sites, and Instant Cert has tons of helpful tips, too. I'd go for that and save your $$$.
