Advertising TECEP - Quick Study Tips? - SweetSecret - 07-26-2015
Okay, so I have had the textbook now for months. I accepted two jobs in May that were both supposed to be part time. One of them I've been working 50-57 hours a week though, and then still having to work the other job from home (5-15hrs per week). I've had no time to study and been exhausted, to the point that I actually put in my resignation; I'm on salary and it's not enough to be working that many hours. I'm supposed to take the Advertising TECEP by Wednesday, but I'm on day #2 of studying. I just took the sample test and didn't score anywhere close to what I'll need to pass (60%). I've been taking notes from the textbook in the order TECEP mentions on the Advertising PDF. So far I have:
1. Overview of advertising management (5%)
2. Overview of integrated marketing communications (15%)
3. Fundamental marcom decisions (15%)
4. Creating and assessing ad messages (15%) - I *think* I wrote down the right info on this (pg 23), but not sure if I need the chapter from "Effective & Creative Ad Messages?
5. Media planning and analysis (10%) - 1/3 of the way through.
Theoretically I should be scoring about 53%... I'm not even close to that. Anyone have advice on making this go faster? Or maybe flashcards they actually used themselves to study?
If I fail this and have to re-take it, will both show up on the TESC transcript?
