Art of the Western World DSST - mia717 - 07-13-2015 Thanks so much-all this info is very helpful as I am very nervous about this exam! I actually changed my date from July 21st to August 18th to have more time to study. I am 9 credits away from my Bachelor's degree & am taking 2 courses online through a local university & opted to get my Fine Arts credit through this exam-of course after I signed up for it, I read all the info about how hard it is & how many people failed the first time round...I plan on devoting a few hours a day at least four days a week until the exam- I have very little prior art knowledge/history but I am a quick study & pretty decent with remembering things, I hope that helps. Thanks again to everyone who has contributed here, I hope I can add to this forum as well & report good news after August 18th. Moved from specific feedback section.... RE: Art of the Western World DSST - fhlb - 06-19-2018 Hi all, I scored a 450 on this in July 2018 with not too much studying or preparation. Many say it is hard, but the material available here is pretty on point. - I did Instacert 100%, only marking cards mastered when I really knew them (around 3 passes only redoing the unmastered cards). - TICE Art 1010 videos on youtube on all periods (they're short) - Goodbye art academy videos (also short) I also watched some videos specifically about certain artists that were discussed a lot, and studied specific things that people said to study in this forum. I have compiled these and attached them. Good luck! |
