I am having difficulty using the Clep scientific calculator and the manual is not very helpful. I was wondering if someone can offer some help.
For example, on a certain problem I cannot figure out to get a solution and the video does not tell me how to properly input my problem into the calculator.
Given the fraction 1/81 with an exponent of 1/4, I am supposed to come up with 0.33, but I cannot do it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to bother you but will you consider helping me with the following problems using the calculator?
Solve for x:
9 to the (1-2x) power = 3 (answer is 0.25)
4 to the (x-1) power = 14 (answer is 2.90)
8 to the (3+6x) = 4 (answer is -0.389)
For the last problem, I type ln(4)/ln(8) into the calculator which gives me 0.666, then I take that number and subtract 3 which gives me -2.333, then I divide by 6 which gives me -0.3888 which rounds to the answer of -0.389.
My problem is that I do not know for sure if this is the correct way to come up with the answer because it is not consistent with other problems and there are no instructions for how to solve these problems on a calculator.

I don't know these to be log solvable, maybe they are, I just don't think it applies here. Someone else please correct me if it is.
Here is how I can work it for the bottom example
8^(3+6x) = 4 we need to make the 8 and 4 the same domain so we use 2 to the power of 3 and 2 to the power of 2
(2^(3)(3+6x) = 2^2 read that as 2 to the third times 3+6x = 2 to the power of 2
3(3+6x) = 2 we can use exponent property to now say 3 times (3+6x) or 9+18x
9+18x = 2
-9 -9 subtract 9 from both side
18x = -7
18x/18 = -7/18 divide both by 18
x = -7/18 or 0.389
I can type it up in a graphic that show the true format in a picture if it helps.

For the first problem 9^1-2x = 3
type into scientific calculator: ln(3)/ln(9)/2 gives me 0.25
For the second problem 4^x-1 = 14
type into scientific calculator: ln(14)/ln(4)+1 gives me 2.90
I do not know if this is the correct way to solve these problems on the calculator but they come up with the right answers.
