Any feedback about SL's Micro and Macro courses: difficulty, pace, etc...

Should I take Micro before Macro?

Should I get the ebook, it it open book finals?

Any feedback is appreciated!

TIA!!!

The tests at SL for Micro & Macro are open book, see link
Online Exam Proctoring Details by Course | StraighterLine
However, you titled your thread Penn Foster. Are you taking them at PF or SL?

At SL the classes are not particularly hard, but there are a ton of quizzes. On the one hand, it makes for very little pressure on doing well on each individual one, but on the other hand it makes it take awhile to work through it all. Everything is open book.

I don't think micro/macro will make a difference the order. Some of the material is exactly the same.

With SL always get the ebooks. Searching the ebook is essential to tests.

Thanks for the info, I accidentally titled it Penn Foster as I was just finishing my Financial Management course with them....it wouldn't let me change it.

Even the final is open book?

Yes, that link is for the final exams.

The finals were open book. ( last summer). The first 5 chapters in macro and micro are identical. And, I believe, there were two identical chapters at the end too ( as I remember about international trade and exchange rates) . Personally, I signed up for the two courses at once and until chapter 6 I did the quizzes in parallel ( read chapter 1 - and do the quiz first in macro, then in micro , some questions on the quizzes were recycled). After chapter 5 I did the macro till the end , then micro till the end. The courses were not difficult but were the most time consuming of all of the Straighterline courses that I took. ( because of the large amount of quizzes).

My daughter took micro/macro through SL. Her grades were in the high 80's. She's a teenager.
