Thanks - a US History pass! - ajbmom - 04-16-2015 We tried Instantcert for one month. We also did Peterson's and REA practice tests. I posted about a month ago because I was so discouraged with my 14y/o's practice tests (Peterson's 48%, 37%, and 33%) and REA (47%, 46%, 52%, 58%). He just seemed to hit a brick wall, and his practice scores were not improving. Finally, I just gave up and scheduled the test. TODAY HE PASSED with a 59!! We attribute his passing score primarily to Instantcert, and the information provided in the forums. We will absolutely subscribe to Instantcert in the future for other tests. Thanks for all the information you provided!! Thanks - a US History pass! - KittenMittens - 04-16-2015 Nice job. It's also awesome that your 14 y/o is getting started on a college degree so young and is outpacing the tediously slow, inefficient, and backwards high school system in America. Too bad these options weren't really well known 10+ years ago otherwise I would have had my sons do that and save us $160,000+ in educational expenses. At this rate, he/she will be able to get a degree by the age of 18 and get started sooner on the real world far sooner (with no slave student debt). Make sure you use the Instantcert.com Subscriber's Forum to read feedback for exams where students give tips as to what is commonly tested on and other tips, and tricks. The nice things with CLEPs and DSSTs are that they are pass/fail so no real worry there. Also, Free Clep Prep.com is an excellent source as well that is linked to instantcert.com . |
