Question regarding TECEPs with Essays - FallingWaters - 12-11-2014

The TECEP (my first!) I am scheduled to take has two essay questions worth 15 points each. It is computer-based via Proctor. I am assuming due to the necessity of grading the essays it will take longer than usual to receive the info whether I passed or not. Does anyone else have experience with this? From what I've read, it seems most TECEPs are entirely multiple-choice.

My TECEP wasn't all mc, I think I had to wait for it to be graded. Mine was hand-written though lol, glad they went to computer-based.

Yes, it will take longer to receive a grade but the processing is much faster via ProctorU than a paper test. I've heard CR posting anywhere from 3-14 days (depending on department). Paper exams are (or were) allowed 4-6 weeks for processing, at least that was the timeframe a few yrs ago.

Actually, the number of TECEPs that are essay/part essay vs MC are, in my opinion, about equal.
