Intro to STATS- ALEKS question need answer ASAO - geissingert - 12-03-2014 Ok all- I saw that somewhere that Intro to STATS is approved for ACE credits, while I was on the phone with ALEKS they told me that it's not ACE approved, unless the college will accept the course, does TESC accept this? Can someone please tell me if this is? My kids are in the midst of taking this course. I need to change it ASAP if not approved. Thanks Intro to STATS- ALEKS question need answer ASAO - laughter - 12-03-2014 Yes, TESC will accept either one of these for their statistics requirement... Here is the ACE link: ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training | Evaluated Organizations As you'll see, all 3 are still ACE evaluated. Now, ALEKS offers a lot of various "levels" of classes, so be sure yours is correct. I noticed they also offer AP Stats (that's not ACE evaluated) so double check here: ALEKS Course Products Go down to the bottom and they have the higher education course titles with ACE written next to the names of the ones that are evaluated. Hope that helps!! Intro to STATS- ALEKS question need answer ASAO - geissingert - 12-03-2014 Thank you. I did call ACE. I didn't realize there was a National Guide, which list the schools and the classes that are ACE approved. I did see the list from ALEKS, phew on Intro to STATS. You guys are awesome! |
