For A Health and Human Services Degree at TESC - pikachucansing - 11-05-2014 I'd like to accumulate credits to transfer for a BS in Health and Human Services at TESC. But as I am making my plan, the course catalog says that I need 18 credits in one field of study. I would like this field of study to be mental health, but where do I find courses/tests for such a thing? I'm trying to navigate this somewhat confusing process, but I really want to do this! For A Health and Human Services Degree at TESC - sanantone - 11-05-2014 I think these tracks are supposed to be somewhat flexible and self-designed. You should look at schools with psychology and counseling programs. There are actually a lot of tests for psychology. I don't know how many of those TESC will accept toward a mental health concentration. Something like Abnormal Psychology should be acceptable, but I don't think they will accept something like Organizational Behavior. They might accept the Substance Abuse and Fundamentals of Counseling DSSTs. Edit: Abnormal Psychology and Fundamentals of Counseling will actually fulfill some of the core requirements. You can also test out of the Management (CLEP) and Research (Uexcel) requirements. How about starting with what you do have. Have you taken any college courses or tests such as CLEP or DSST? |
