Social Sciences and History CLEP - testaker - 10-11-2014

My opinion on this exam:
I used the Comex book. you can get it on Amazon or Ebay. Its a great book. I studied for like 4 hours from the Comex book. I read it properly until page 136 out of 290. I skimmed through the glossary on the bus to my testing center (half hour away). I passed quite neatly for this amount of studying! I have a regular high school education (Took the NY State Regents Exams) so no major prior knowledge....The comex book is amazing and the practice questions are very similar to the actual CLEP. There is some psychology and it was a jumpstart for all other psychology CLEPs. I would definitely take this as one of the first CLEPs. Because from there I was familiar with sociology psychology etc...
Good luck to all of you out there!

That exam is made up of sociology, psychology, history 1, and history 2 in a big way. I did the same as you, I'd completed those exams/courses FIRST and then just brushed up. The exam is easy if you take it after the others. Great job!
