I don't post much, but since there isn't a whole lot on the company I thought I would share. I had a small surplus of cash and was trying to figure out what my next alternative credit options would be. I signed up for a couple of things and one of those options was Propero. None of the millions of discount codes that can be found work for those courses. They worked for pretty much anything else in the Pearson Store though. I tested it just to make sure. But after I signed up they charged me tax which I hadn't been shown in the cart. You won't know until you actually make the purchase. That was a turn off for me. I don't know why, but I just had a feeling I had made a mistake by purchasing it. So, within 30 minutes of ordering it I had requested a refund. They denied my refund and followed it by sending me a email link with access to the course.

So, I decided to suck up my lose and take the course. I can't access the material I keep getting an error. I contacted tech support after exhausting all of my own options. I used to work in tech support so I pretty much knew the routine. I had even tried 3 different browsers on 3 different computers, all with different operating systems. Nothing. The tech basically went and checked my account from his computer and told me that he was able to access all the content and I needed to clear my cache. If that didn't work try another browser and he was done. I still can't access it. I seriously have buyers remorse right now.banghead

Typically in a case like this I would contact my credit card company for a chargeback. I've found that this is the best avenue for receiving a refund when a merchant is uncooperative.

I am definitely going to have to go that route. I think I just expected better from them and was greatly disappointed.

Straighterline is a nice option. They have great customer service and several options to look at.

There are dozens of really great companies used frequently by members here, I like to stick to those. I've never heard of that company.

They've been discussed quite a bit here, but the few members who tried them a couple of years ago didn't have good experiences with them. They are more expensive than Straighterline and even Penn Foster, so there is not much of a reason to choose them. They have a lot of criminal justice courses, but Penn Foster also offers a lot of CJ courses.
