Credit source with Thomas Edison & EXcelsior Degree transcript - sekiflying - 09-21-2014 I want to take most of the credit from StraightLine instead of CLEP, DSST or other credit exams. Because SL is cheaper and come with all study materials. I just curious will the source of credit shown on the degree transcript. I just worry about that SL is not as accredit as the CLEP & DSST. All of them are ACE-recommended for college credit. ACE is not an accreditor. The source of the credit will be on the TESC and Excelsior transcript. SL does not come with all of the study materials. You have to purchase the book. The book is not required, but you will have a hard time completing the course without it. SL is only cheaper if you can finish multiple courses in a month. There are plenty of cheap and free study materials for CLEP/DSST. If so, it needs to be subtracted from the total if the credits are already in place.
