help.........principles of management clep - CANDYCRUSH - 06-22-2014 Hello Guys. I joined instacert to prepare for my marketing and management CLEP. I am new to this forum Having no previous background in this subject ,I needed to get the concepts right. For my management clep , which i will be taking in 3 days, I have gone throught instacert flashcards 2 times, read the REA book chap 1 to 7 [the book is too vast and does not hold my attention :-( ] Will be taking peterson's tests today. I have taken notes from instacert flashcards. I wanted to know if this preparation will be enough for management. Please let me know. Thanks help.........principles of management clep - OfficerA - 06-22-2014 Principles of Marketing and Management are considered the two entry level courses for business degrees. I started with Principles of Management first, even before InstantCert/free-clep-prep were available to me, with nothing but the REA book and one other similar one to study with, and I did well in Principles of Management. For Marketing, I used the REA book primarily and only used Instacert to review, but otherwise I didn't think too much of the exam. If you have access to the flashcards, compare what you know/studied with with what people are saying in the feedback forum: http://www.degreeforum.net/specific-exam-feedback-instantcert-subscribers-only/ I personally think you should be fine, especially if you're managing to go through the Peterson's practice exams. help.........principles of management clep - CANDYCRUSH - 06-22-2014 Thanks OfficerA. I forgot to mention that I already gave my marketing exam and yes the flashcards helped me. But I had also read the REA book completely for the same. The problem with management is I have not been able to read the book completely and will be relying on flashcards completely and from 2 sets of notes that were mentioned in another thread on the forum. I assume I will get a better idea once i am done with the Peterson's test. Just hoping flash cards are enough to get me through this one. |
