Okay, it's not exactly free... the course is free, the final exam has a ProctorU fee of $25.

Saylor is offering free ACE-recommended courses in General Chemistry and Introduction to Cellular and Molecular Biology, similar to those NCCRS-recommended ones.
American Council on Education (ACE) « Saylor Academy

Has anyone successfully transferred these ACE-recommended courses to TESC?

This is cool, but confusing. Some courses are NCCRS while others are ACE. I wonder if they're going to eventually switch over to ACE for more acceptability. I don't see them on the ACE National Guide yet. I could be looking under the wrong name. The ACE approval sounds really new, so I doubt anyone has attempted to transfer these courses outside of attempting a PLA.

Interesting, I thought these were "credit aligned" with Straighterline courses.

Update: According to Saylor, these ACE courses will transfer to TESC, but the course equivalencies are still being worked out. I'm staying tune for further updates Smile

Too bad they didn't get the labs evaluated. How come hardly anyone wants to offer the labs for biology I and II and chemistry I and II?
