Is there a general requirement that in order to get any Bachelor degree the person needs at least 30 Upper credits? I looked through Thomas Edison and Excelsior catalogs and didn't find the answer. All I saw - the need of the upper credits ( 15 -21) - is specified only in the area of study depending on the chosen degree. Does it mean that those 15-21 upper credits in area of study are all that is needed?

At TESC, the requirement is 18 upper-level (300/400 level) classes, which turns into 15 UL hours plus the capstone. At COSC and Excelsior, the requirement is 30 UL hours.

What KayV wrote applies to the Bachelor of Art degrees. The UL requirements vary with the other degrees. You just have to view that degree's specific page on the website or in the catalog. For the business administration degrees, there has to be 12 UL credits in the area of specialization. There is no UL credit specification for the business core. I did a "what-if" for the BSAST in Technical Studies in Online Student Services. Only 12 UL credits are required, and 6 of them are satisfied by the technical core (Current Trends and Applications and Project Management).

Thank you so much for reply! Finally it made sense for me - it is just different for different degrees.
