Needing some Guidance - legalbound - 05-01-2014

I haven't taken a college class in almost 30 years. A friend suggested to test out the rest of my classes, transfer the to TESC, and graduate from there!
This are the credits I have so far:

POLS 111 3 credits
Econ 100 1 credit
Econ 103 1 credit
PSY 101 1 credit
PSY 338 1 credit
Chem 140 1 credit
BAS 210 1 credit
BAS 211 1 credit
BAS 221 1 credit
BAS 225 1 credit
BAS 340 1 credit
BAS 350 1 Credit
COMM 102 1 credit
COMM 245 1 credit
CSC 110 1 credit
MATH 121 2 credit
PHIL 102 1 Credit
PHYS 208 1 credit
GS 497 1 credit
Electives 2.5 credits

If someone could help me decide which Degree might be a good fit and give me some idea of which tests I should take to complete that degree I would really be grateful!!

What do you want to do with your newly minted bachelors degree when you are done? An ABA law school perhaps?

The only part-time ABA law school on this side of the Cascades is Seattle University. There, I didn't wait for an answer. Smile

I'm ok with whichever degree, I just need one, so I can begin an internship with a law firm. In Washington state you can do a 3 year internship then sit for the bar.

Are you sure that they are all one credit classes? Were they from a regionally accredited college? Usually people pick a subject and then submit their current credits for an initial evaluation, usually around $85 plus transcripts fees. TESC has a good reputation as do remaining two of the "big three" Your choice will be based on if you need a GPA or just a degree. Are you satisfied with the GPA you had from 20 years ago then TESC will certainly work well for you. Testing out can at times be more difficult than taking a class, time management skills are a must. Which means I gotta get back to studying since I've got an exam on Monday morning Smile

My goal is to go into family law to help people that can't afford attorney's but deserve one! Working Pro-Bono, or a sliding scale.
It's the kid's who get hurt the worst in family court!

Yes they were from Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon. Thank you I am aware of the evaluation they provide, I thought I might be able to get a path without doing that.

You have read: The Law School Bible: How Anyone Can Become a Lawyer...Without Ever Setting Foot in a Law School...Unless You Really Want to by Peter J. Loughlin, JD, LLM? I have, and I think you have, and if you haven't then you had better read it ASAP. Smile

BTW: 3/4 of my degree is made up of 25 tests or 90 credits...all of them CLEP, DSST, and ECE; the point being that 3/4 of my BA cost less than $3,000. It is cheap and quick to get way past 90 semester credits toward a degree.
