Apply To Excelsior for Free With Questionnaire Email - AngelaP - 03-06-2014

Just received an email from Excelsior stating that now through April 15, application to Excelsior College is free for those who complete our Getting to Know You questionnaire.

This is what it stated:

It’s simple. Give us a few minutes of your time and we’ll waive the $80 undergraduate or $100 graduate application fee - no matter which of our 120+ associate, bachelor's or master's degree programs you’re interested in.

Here’s how it works:

1. Fill out our Getting to Know You Questionnaire.

2. Within 12 hours of completing the questionnaire, you will receive a free application confirmation email.

3. Use the link provided in your confirmation email to apply for free to Excelsior College. You will have until April 15, 2014 to use this link for a free application.

I tried to post the link in the email or copying it, but it isn't working. If someone could tell me how to do it, I will post it. I did the questionnaire and it just a few basic things.

Thank you for posting this! Since TESC is no longer accepting FEMA credits, I might look into applying to Excelsior and Charter Oakes too.

Excelsior also does not accept FEMA.

Unless the credits are washed through FCC at $77 per credit hour. At that rate, it would be cheaper to just test out of the free electives.

Yes, that is an expensive option. And from what I read in another thread, it looks like TESC will not accept FCC washed credits from FEMA, either. I am curious about TESC's reasons for this abrupt change. The fact that the courses are not proctored could be one possibility, but I wonder if the change was financially motivated.
