Getting a brick and mortar school to drop credits - koroberts - 02-01-2014

Hey y'all, I screwed up.

I transferred CLEP and DANTES credits to my school (Park University) that I didn't want and now they won't drop those particular credits. Or at least they say they won't. I've got technical writing and HR Management sitting in bs elective slots, and I'd rather CLEP out of something like accounting and business law and sit through some basket weaving class for electives. Anyone with any experience getting rid of CLEP credits on their records?

It's all about the individual school's policy. At Charter Oak, you can request to have credits removed within 30 days of enrolling.

Other schools offer "academic bankruptcy" whereby credits are removed. However, even in the schools that do offer these, policies still vary.
