TESC History Degree Plan - acf262 - 01-16-2014
Hello,
I need help coming up with a history degree plan at TESC.
What I have so far:
3 community college credits in Native American History & Culture. I'm guessing this would apply to the history electives portion.
I plan on taking advantage of FEMA to fulfill my free electives. (I took IS-1.a but then realized that I don't think TESC accepts this one?) I would also like to use Straighterline courses whenever possible as opposed to CLEP or DSST.
I know that I will have to take the capstone through TESC, but can I test out of everything else? I want to keep costs as low as possible while completing this as quickly as possible.
Thanks so much!

I'm getting my History degree under the old reqs so you could look for threads that discuss the new Gen Ed reqs, and figure out how to fill those. For the major-specific work, you can use CLEPs and DSSTs for most of the credits needed. But you'll also need the Capstone and one other UL test/course (I used ECE "World Conflicts Since 1900"). My degree plan link is in my sig. Hope that helps!

I just modified my Social Science Template to work with History. You can get a copy in my signature below if it helps. Just plug in the information from Sanantone's plan.
