Info Appreciated - Anyone Taken Abnormal Psychology ECE Recently? - SuZQ2 - 12-22-2013 Hi All, I'm having a serious bit of confusion concerning Excelsior's Abnormal Psych exam. The content guide states it's using the DSM-IV-TR - then states its using DSM-5 classifications. The recommended text (Abnormal Psych - Kring 12th edition) transitions from the DSM-IV-TR to the new DSM-5, the practice tests had questions going back to the ancient DSM-III with nothing regarding DSM-5.:willynilly: I used the Kring text and its online resources as my main study guide, and despite its numerous problems managed an 82 and 83 on both Excelsior practice exams. I've signed up to take the actual test in early January, so have a few weeks to review/study relevant material. If there's anyone out there who has taken this exam recently... which version of the DSM actually shows up on the test? Thanks so much! |
