I thought this deserved it's own thread.
I chatted with a Straigterline advisor today and asked if you could use ProctorU to proctor the Uexcel tests they offer through Straighterline. The answer to the question was Yes! I would definitely recommend a few other people validating this response, but I thought it was pretty awesome.

I tried to chat with SL few minutes ago but was told none of the advisors was around to answer this particular question. So, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'll ask to confirm if this is possible as I am interested in taking few Uexcel exams too. I'd be glad if it is indeed possible...

I had a chat with one of the advisors today. At first, the advisor tends to validate your findings, but when I was asking how sure he was that when I pay for Uexcel exams I could be able to sit the exam via Proctor U, he asked me to hold on so he could confirm and give me the most correct answer. Few minutes later, he returned to tell me that it was not possible to use Proctor U to sit Uexcel. He added that- when one pays to SL they would still have to locate a PearsonVue testing center for the exam.
