Any opinions on what would be easier to pass -- College Mathematics or College Algebra to satisfy a math general ed requirement?

Thanks.

College Math is far easier than College Algebra, but you will want to study if you are not familiar with set theory, permutations, and combinations.

College Math is easier to pass, but it's applicability depends on the institution. Some institutions will not accept anything lower than College Algebra for their math requirement. Find out what your institution accepts. Another thing to consider is the fact that College Algebra is a pre-requisite for most graduate level programs. So just keep in mind what your end goals might be, and plan from there.

Math is definitely easier. I took both. I studied for both Algebra and PreCal (which I had not taken in high school), failed PreCal and went and took Math without any extra study. Passed it way above what I needed.
