Transferring a D into TESC's ASBA - bojangle - 10-11-2013 I got a D on Excelsior's credit by exam in managerial accounting (did it blind). I don't want to have to take it again. All my other courses are CLEPs and DSSTs and my math is ALEKS Algebra (got an 81). The CLEPs and DSSTs are grades of C, based on what i was told. The 81 would be a B or A. Will TESC accept this for the ASBA? Thanks, - Bo Transferring a D into TESC's ASBA - bojangle - 10-11-2013 If not, any other school that will accept this without putting a grade on it? After which, i can send it to TESC? Transferring a D into TESC's ASBA - sanantone - 10-11-2013 You can't launder the ECE through another school. You either need to send the Excelsior transcript or an ACE transcript. I don't know if TESC will accept the D off of an Excelsior transcript, but you won't get the course on an ACE transcript because you failed. The cut off score is a C. TESC doesn't assign grades to ALEKS, CLEP, DSST, etc. It's pass/fail. I don't know how the ACE transcript looks, but the CLEP and DSST transcript will just have the score. TESC will just be looking for a pass; they won't convert the score to a letter grade. |
