Gov't shut down affecting FEMA - Gooberman11 - 10-07-2013 I was just on the FEMA and NFA sites and they have posted that they won't be monitoring their sites until funding is back. I wonder how much of an impact this will have on timing of getting the courses finished and submitted to TESC??? Gov't shut down affecting FEMA - sklineho - 10-11-2013 I think everything regarding the FEMA stuff is automated anyway so I wouldn't think there'd be an issue. When you finish a course it automatically sends a certificate via email. I may be wrong but surely this shouldn't be affected by the shutdown. Gov't shut down affecting FEMA - topdog98 - 10-11-2013 I completed a FEMA yesterday, and there was no problem. It worked just as usual. I don't know whether there would be an issue ordering transcripts or not. Gov't shut down affecting FEMA - escalations - 10-11-2013 I have completed 2 courses in last 2 days and no automated email. I have previously completed 6 others in September and email and cert came within 5 minute. And no, I didn't get in these 2 courses a notice on web site that I didn't have the require score, I had one of those and September and retook that one. So something is off. Gov't shut down affecting FEMA - altizachen - 10-14-2013 Yes, I have been having the same problem with FEMA since the "shut-down". The other day I would get the emailed completion in a few minutes. The next day I did 3 more tests and never received any emails. I am wondering if I should just keep on tdoing the tests and hope that when they are back to work, the tests will be processed. I did think it was automated though?? Anyone have any other experience with these issues in the past week? |
