TEEX Switching to Moodle and the New FEMA ID - sanantone - 09-21-2013
I tried to log into TEEX and saw that they switched to Moodle. They now require that you obtain a FEMA ID. The new FEMA ID is required for the Department of Homeland Security courses such as TEEX Cybersecurity/Homeland Security, NFA, and Emergency Management Institute. This is their way of simplifying records management. I'm hoping that TEEX still has a record of the Information Security for Everyone course that I retook to receive ACE credit. Even though the system was able to bring up my information from my old account when I signed up for a new account, there is no record on there that I previously completed a course. I went back to complete Cyber Ethics and Cyber Law and White Collar Crime to get the 2 credits.
