I've emailed them, and tried calling for a couple days. Phone just rings and I'm not getting a response to emails. Are they still in business?

I haven't had any problem reaching SL by phone or with live chat. Email and trouble tickets can take 48 hours for a reply.

I've never had any problem contacting them either. I also read a news article that mentioned last year they had about 15,000 students and this year they are on pace for 20,000. Pretty sure they're still in business.

I did over the weekend. I started calling saturday from early morning till mid afternoon, and couldn't get through. Sometimes the system will tell me the call will be answered in 8 minutes, other times it took me straight to voice voice. And the chat system was off. It did same thing on Monday, and finally after 2 hours of trying from work. I got through.

Regarding the ability to contact Straighterline - I had both the Live Chat and phones unavailable multiple times. However, when I called, Voice Mail eventually asked me to leave my name and phone number with the understanding an advisor would contact me as soon as possible. No problems - an advisor always called within a few hours.
