Hello everyone!
I am currently a junior at a state college in Pennsylvania, studying elementary education. Next Spring I will graduate with a B.S.ed, and be certified to teach Prek-4th grade. I was home-schooled during high school, and have had a lot of experience with independent study, CLEP testing, AP testing, ALEKS, etc.
My question is - how can I use testing to earn a degree that compliments my work in education? I have seen a lot of people mention Psychology, which I would like to pursue.
Does anyone know if there would be a way to test out of some kind of English degree (without the education certification tacked on, obviously)? I really love literature, and this is an area of study that I would easily be able to pursue on my own. I've done a few AP English tests already as well.
Also, could any of my credits that are going towards my current BS also be used for a second degree...gen eds, etc? How does that work?

Have you considered a Master's degree rather than a second Bachelor's degree? WNMU has a very affordable program as long as you don't take more than 6 credits per semester.
