As of today, I was informed that the two exams listed in the title are considered overlap.

Do you mean that
⢠CLEP Information Systems & Computer Applications and
⢠DSST Introduction to Computing
are considered to overlap? There's no CLEP in Management Information Systems. There is a DSST Management Information Systems. Instead of the overlap relationship above, do you mean that the DSST in Management Information Systems is now considered to overlap with either of the above?

Wait a second. You mean that the new versions of DSST Intro to Computing and CLEP Info Systems and Computer Applications are considered duplicate now. Right? If so, we have known that for a while but it had not been published, yet.
The upper-level DSST Management Information Systems still does not duplicate them, does it?

CLEP Info Systems and DSST Intro to Computing are now considered overlap at Excelsior. Recently, my advisor told me they did not overlap, but today I received a correction that they did. I was given upper level credit for the DSST Management Information Systems and lower level credit for the CLEP information systems and computer applications. Sorry about the confusion.

Okay, good. Well, not good, but you know what I mean. I got the impression that it depended on when you took the exams; I do not know if that is still true. New students needed to know about this issue since we have mentioned taking all three in previous posts. Thanks for the update!
