WGU - Teaching Masters - scorched - 03-02-2013 Greetings all.. I have a new name, used to be hmuchmo1, now I am scorched. But any way..There are some questions I am hoping some of you teacher types can help with. My 19 year old who has been attending B&M at Mary Washington, has decided she wants to pursue being a teacher. Her intention was to finish the 5yr program at UMW, and but as we all know this proving to be costly, and as single parent living at home, time and work are problem. So she has talked to WGU about their teaching masters degrees and seems to think this is a better path. But this is the most knowledgeable group I know of, so thought I would ask you all. What is your opinion about, cost, amount of time to dedicate, and whatever else you can think of? Any better options? Thanks in advance.
